2009 Literary Competition

That's right, it is time for the annual Literary Competition!

Please see the two attachments: the official Welcome Letter from the SELEF Literary Chairman, Steve Ehrfurth, MINN ’06 and the official rules for this year's Literary Competition. Please note that all entries are due on Monday, June 1, 2009. This is a later date than in years past, so use it to your advantage -- get those entries in!

This year we are continuing to require ALL entries be sent to SELEF Headquarters ELECTRONICALLY (via e-mail or on CD-ROM – literary@samueleells.org). SELEF's goal is to get the new Foundation website up and running so we can showcase each entry and honor the winners of competitions past. Our hope is to share with all of the membership the talent the judges get to see every year. In the future, this may lead to a print or online literary journal. Please note that, by entering the competition, you are giving your permission for the Foundation to place your entry either on this website or in such a journal. Please read the rules very carefully and make sure you have followed directions (as the judges will not be forgiving if you do not).
