It was an exciting weekend at the Middletown Chapter House at 185 High Street in Middletown, Connecticut. Just 16 hours after pledging twenty-three members of the Wesleyan University community, the chapter hosted the first initiation ceremony for the Granite Affiliate Chapter, based at the University of New Hampshire.

The UNH campus paper, "The New Hampshire" has an article about our new affiliate!
Here is a link to the article in the paper.
Affiliate President/Pledge Meredith Lee and Affiliate Pledge Ashley Auger are quoted in the article, as are Brother Pledgemaster Kristen Soule Brn '99 and Expansion Chair Thomas Clark Bdn '99.
The article was not written by one of our pledges, but Pledge Lee is a graphics designer for the paper.

It is my honor to welcome the Granite Affiliate at the University of New Hampshire to the Alpha Delta Phi Society.

Brunonian Chapter Vice President Mike Wasserman, BRN ‘06 recently reported some great news:

We had our 20th annual Bizarre Bazaar Charity Auction this Thursday and it went amazingly well. In total, we raised $17,000 for Providence Summerbridge. The day was perfect (68 and sunny) and we all had a great time. We could not have asked for a better turnout.

Congratulations to the Brunonian Chapter on a job well done!

Congratulations on a job well done!

Bowdoin Chapter Fantasy Football

A quick congratulations to Rob Follett (Bowdoin 1988) for winning the 2005 Bowdoin Alpha Delta Phi Society Fantasy Football Championship. His Oahu Volcano of Acton defeated my Opinion Mafia by an 89-80 score.

Our league included 11 Bowdoin Alpha Delts and one Brunonian Alpha Delt. We've been keeping this league going for six or seven years now. Our team owners are also members of our chapter's e-mail discussion list.

I know that other chapters have their own little fun traditions or events. E-mail me (president(at)adps.org) if you would like to share them.
