Philanthropy
Good for (and by) the Phi
In addition to getting serious karma points, philanthropy events can be a lot of fun and a great form of chapter bonding. Popular events held by chapters include Blind Date with a Book fundraisers, group volunteering days, formal events, and book or supply drives.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, great ideas about philanthropy or want to join the team, feel free to email Director of Philanthropy Carling Mars, Columbia 2010 or Assistant Director Alex Moehring, Binghamton 2015.

MERIT BADGES
Merit Badges (currently in alpha testing) are awarded based on any charity work done (and submitted to Philanthropy) by any chapter. In addition to an actual, physical, super cool merit badge, chapters will be entered to win a national Philanthropy award at Convention!
